This made me smile. When I was in seventh grade I was one of the managers of the Jr High football team (I knew that football wasn’t for me after YMCA flag football 😉). However I did play basketball… my shining moment was an airball during our “exhibition” game at the halftime of the Varsity game. The next year I was one of the managers. I continued that throughout my Jr High and High School years, eventually earning a varsity letter (with a MGR in the middle of the A). I saw the ups and downs and learned so much from our coaches and from my teammates. Those lessons continued to guide me through my journey and career. Thanks for the opportunity to remember 💖

I love this Angela. I didn't make it past high school basketball and football, but sports (especially non NIL sports) still have a place in my heart.
I’m a supporter of NIL to right some of the previous wrongs in college athletics. It’s still working out the kinks for sure.
