It's a beautiful piece of wisdom and grace to affirm pastoral care as a foundation piece in God's work in the world- including seniors! I think of Dietrich Bonhoeffer who also affirmed and practiced the "care of souls" throughout his short life and ministry as a "public theologian", even in prison. I hope you and your family will grow and thrive in this next adventure of faith.
