Angela, another parallel in our lives. I also was a runner in high school. In the olden days of 1964, my race was 1/4 mile. Personal best 50.0 in a mile relay split. Not bad for a scrawny 150 lb kid. I was also shocked by Tori Bowie's passing and assumed it was due to poor access to health care for black women. I too love track and field and watch anytime I can.
