I am so excited for you Angela. I would have ordered your book even with the first title however personally I think you hit it on the head with the new one. Liked the Happy Face in the picture section on the lower right best. Keep smiling. Snow and blow in Southern MN tonight. Keep warm. Sending prayers north to you.
Love the new sharper and pointed title and excited for the new publication date! Looking forward to your coming announcements and book events.
I don’t have any insights on Panera, but I hear you on coffee shops closing early. I just found a new one in Fargo I like and it closes at 3:00 p.m. I too like the post-supper hours for reading and writing.
As one who grew up under the heel of White Jesus ( metaphorically ). More like “Jesus and John Wayne “ two of my fathers favorite people.
And as you mentioned your favorite sport, Basketball, I will share this quote from John Wooden, “Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It’s courage that counts.”
If you haven't read his book “ They Call me Coach”, you must get a copy! I was a student at UCLA at the start of his championship run. First with Gail Goodrich, one year break, then Lew Alcindor (Kareem ), etc.
I have read that book! So good. Did not know you were a UCLA grad! That was my dream college in early hs. Got to spend a day on campus back in early 2017. Love the nearby Persian food in Westwood!
After my junior year I ended up in the USMC, finished college after at San Fernando Valley State U.
Btw UCLA was tuition Free in ancient times.
I did return to Grad school at the University of Washington in 1990, and earned my PhD from the School of Medicine, Academic Department of Pharmacology in 1996 at 50 years of age.
Wow...great newsletter this week~ And, congratulations on the new book titled. Love it! Be sure to take some time for self-stewardship, too.
Wow, what a time you have had!! I am so excited for you and for all of us, your readers!
Trivia note: my wife and her Dad shared the same birthday. He passed shortly before his 95th.
Thank you, Michael. Sharing a birthday with a parent is a very unique thing. Hugs to your wife.

Well not so much a grad as an alum.

Oh, and Westwood was a cute little college town then. No tall buildings over two stories, except on Campus!
Wow!!
Looking forward to the book. Regarding Panera, is this why its the hotspot for evangelicals?
