Angela, I’m glad to hear your little boy is ❤️🩹. One of my grandsons was in Seattle Children’s NICU at three day old with tubes everywhere. They opened up his abdomen and took everything out to see what was wrong. Turned out to be Hirshsprungs disease . You can look that up if you wish but you don’t have to. The good news is he’s now a hairy 16 year old with slightly altered plumbing 😁
Some good news from almost 78 year old me. I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety since retirement in 2012. Last week I had Psilocybin treatment and altogether pleasant experience. When I awakened the next day depression and anxiety Gone! Still good a week and a half later!
Oh Angela... I can't even begin to imagine. Yes, I have walked with families through traumatic experiences with their kids but it was different. Sending you and your family lots of love and I will be holding y'all in my heart and my prayers.

There's no experience quite like a stay in a children's hospital. It's been 15 years since my son spent a week at Vanderbilt when he was dx with diabetes, and I still carry those heavy, confusing feelings.
