Are these the dog days of winter? I’m coming to you from a devastating and exciting mid-January, where on one hand I’m enthusiastically attempting to jump into the writing and ministry work that is beginning and continuing anew in 2024 - while at the same time unable to quite recover from a very busy December and early January flurry, which capped off last weekend with my final book reporting trip to Phoenix.
More to come about that trip, but it included some high highs - including an in-depth interview with Pastor Caleb Campbell of
, a home visit to a delightful family who had important insight to share about their own journey through Christianity, politics, and parenting since 2015 in Arizona, and even two separate hikes, capped off by summiting Camelback Mountain on a brilliantly beautiful Phoenix afternoon.
